SOLVAY, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 43-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was attacked outside his home in suburban Syracuse.
Sgt. Derek Osbeck of Solvay Police says Mike LaPoint was assaulted around 5:30 a.m. Sunday outside his home on Williams Street in Solvay.
Police were called to the location for a reported shooting/stabbing and found LaPoint had been stabbed multiple times.
Investigators are still putting together details of the incident and have no suspects in custody.
