Two juveniles are slated to appear in juvenile court June 10 on charges of unlawful mischief.

Law enforcement officials say that 10 gravestones - including one atop the grave a War of 1812 veteran - were toppled Friday at the Boro Cemetery in Monkton.

One juvenile was arrested Friday. The second juvenile was arrested Saturday.

Town officials peg the dollar value of the vandalism at about $800.

Police say the pair also broke in half a flag pole at the cemetery - leaving an American flag lying on the ground.
