YORKVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A teenager from suburban Chicago is set to attend training with the Rockettes in New York.
The Beacon-News in Aurora reports (https://bit.ly/1kCcLt6 ) it will be the second summer intensive program for 16-year-old Lili Nash of Channahon (SHAN’-nuh-hawn). She’s a student at Benet Academy in Lisle and a dance teacher at the Yorkville Performing Arts Center.
Nash says her parents took her to see the famous Rockettes dance line at Radio City Music Hall when she was 4 years old. And that’s when she started dancing.
Nash says being a Rockette “would literally mean the world to me” and “would definitely be a dream come true.” She can try out for the full Rockettes when she’s 18.
