CLAYMONT, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are looking for a man who robbed a Claymont convenience store at gunpoint.

It happened about 8:35 p.m. Sunday at the Wawa on Ridge Road. Troopers say a man with clothing covering his face brandished a handgun and demanded money from a cashier.

Police say the cashier stepped away from the register, which was already open, and the robber grabbed money from it.

The robber then ran away.
