LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - The June 9 Big Idea Seminar at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will explore nutrigenomics, the study of how individual genetic makeup interacts with diet.

The event is being offered as the Nebraska Gateway to Nutrigenomics Spring Retreat. It is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nebraska East Union on UNL’s East Campus.

Organizer Janos Zempleni says the retreat “will inform the audience about how computational approaches can be used to accelerate the speed of discovery in nutrigenomics research.”

There is no fee to attend this event, but preregistration is required by June 1. People who registered for the seminar that was previously scheduled for April 14 should reregister. To register, visit https://nutrigenomics.unl.edu/.
