BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 21-year-old Billings man has died after his motorcycle collided with a car at a city intersection.

Assistant Yellowstone County Coroner Chad Fehr tells The Billings Gazette (https://bit.ly/1mvul7u ) the victim of Friday’s collision was Craig Sowerwine.

Authorities said Friday that a car pulled out in front of Sowerwine’s motorcycle on Friday. He laid down the motorcycle and slid under the rear of the car, suffering fatal injuries.

Police say Sowerwine wasn’t wearing a helmet and was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic before the crash.

The driver of the car told police she didn’t see the motorcycle.

The crash is still under investigation.
