COVINGTON, Va. (AP) - A Covington man faces a July sentencing after pleading no contest to charges that he killed his wife and buried her in a cemetery.,

Online court records show that Adan Quiroz Rodriguez pleaded no contest last week to first-degree murder and concealing a body. He also pleaded no contest to a weapons charge.

The Roanoke Times (https://bit.ly/1mvqSWE ) reports that Rodriguez is scheduled to be sentenced July 15 in Alleghany County Circuit Court.

U.S. Marshals arrested Rodriguez on May 30, 2013, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Officers with the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office found the remains of Rodriguez’s wife, Ashley Rodriguez, in Allegany Memorial Park in a part of the cemetery that was only accessible to employees. Police have said Adan Rodriguez worked at the cemetery.
