WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Wilmington Police say a woman was shot in the chest while she sat on the front steps of her home.
It happened about 5:30 p.m. Monday on West 25th Street. Police say two men began shooting at someone from a nearby intersection and the woman was hit in the chest. Officers say the 56-year-old woman was not the intended target.
The woman is in stable condition at a local hospital.
