MINOT, N.D. (AP) - An amphitheater in Minot’s Oak Park that was destroyed by Souris River floodwaters in the summer of 2011 will be rebuilt.

The Minot Area Community Foundation is giving the city Park District $100,000 for the project.

The historic flood damaged or destroyed more than 4,000 structures in Minot. Flood donations have been channeled through the Community Foundation, which in the past three years has put millions of dollars back into the community to help with rebuilding.
