MCCOMB, Miss. (AP) - Centreville police have arrested a man who allegedly fired shots into the police station earlier this week.
The Enterprise-Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1iwfdPh ) officers booked 47-year-old Calvin Walker, of Centreville, on a charge of attempted murder Wednesday after detaining him on a 48-hour investigative hold.
Authorities say an altercation ensued Sunday, leading to an exchange of gunfire at the police station. No one was injured, and officers apprehended Walker shortly after the incident.
Police have not released any additional details on the incident.
As of Thursday, Walker remained in the Amite County jail with bond set at $200,000. It was not immediately known if he has an attorney.
