MADISON, Wis. (AP) - A search committee has selected five finalists for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay chancellor position.

They include David Glassman, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Bradley University; Gary Miller, chancellor at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington; Gayle Ormiston, senior vice president for academic affairs and provost at Marshall University; Aldemaro Romero Jr., dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Southern Illinois University; and Beth Rushing, vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty at St. Mary’s College of Maryland.

A Board of Regents selection committee will interview finalists on May 28 and recommend one person to the full board. The board is expected to announce the winner the following week.

The new chancellor will succeed Tom Harden, who plans to step down in August.
