CANTON, Ohio (AP) - A northeast Ohio man is in jail after allegedly head-butting an X-ray machine and assaulting medical staff while receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The Repository newspaper in Canton reports (https://bit.ly/1txL0oa ) the 40-year-old man was receiving treatment at Mercy Medical Center in Canton on Saturday afternoon. Jail records say the man head-butted the machine and then continued to act violently, assaulting a staff member while being restrained.
According to records, the man said he would return to harm staff when he was released from jail.
The man was arrested on charges of assault, vandalism, aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct. He was scheduled to appear in court Monday.
