GREENVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Two men wanted in Tennessee related to the fatal shooting of a minister are awaiting extradition in a Mississippi jail.

Authorities say 23-year-old Roger Reed Jr. and 24-year-old Lashonda Williams are being held in the Washington County jail. Both were arrested this past week.

Memphis police have charged each man with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 57-year-old Don Smith in Hickory Hill, Tennessee on Nov. 1. Smith’s car was missing and was found in Greenville.

Greenville Assistant Police Chief Delando Wilson tells the Delta Democrat-Times (https://bit.ly/1tY6Kgp ) that Memphis police alerted local authorities that the men might be in Mississippi.
