TLC’s “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro was arrested for driving while intoxicated in New York City early Thursday, police said.
The famed baker was allegedly “driving erratically” on Tenth Avenue around 1 a.m. in a yellow 2014 Corvette when he was pulled over, the New York Post reported.
Police said Mr. Valastro was unsteady on his feet when he stepped out of his vehicle and failed a field sobriety test at the scene.
Further testing at the 7th Precinct on the Lower East Side reportedly confirmed he was drunk.
Mr. Valastro was charged with DWI and is expected to be arraigned later Thursday. This was his first offense, the Post reported.
“Cake Boss” follows the reality star and his business Carlo’s Bakery, in Marlton, New Jersey. His last post on Instagram Wednesday showed him posing for a group photo at the shop.
