WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) - A dog poop dispute between Maui neighbors escalated into two arrests on charges of terrorist threatening.

The Maui News (https://bit.ly/1r1iITk) reports Maui police Sunday in Haiku investigated a man and woman yelling profanities at a female neighbor they accused of placing feces in front of their home.

Police say the neighbor’s windshield was damaged, and when the neighbor entered her car to examine it, the other woman climbed inside, armed with a golf club.

The neighbor retreated to her home and the woman with the golf club followed, threatening harm.

Prosecutors charged the 32-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man with first-degree terroristic threatening. The woman also was charged with burglary and unauthorized vehicle entry. She’s jailed with bail set at $20,000.

The man was also charged with criminal property damage.
