CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a woman killed in a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 10 near Casa Grande.

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say the victim of Monday’s accident was 60-year-old Ampara Alvarado Inostroza of Ahome, Sinola, Mexico.

They are looking for an early 2000 Mercedes C-Class involved in the crash that now has front-end damage and is missing the driver’s side mirror.

DPS officials say there also may be clothing lodged in the car’s front end and a large bag stuck to the luxury car’s rear right corner.

The vehicle drove off from the scene of the collision, which occurred about 1 p.m. Monday.

There isn’t any description of the driver yet from possible witnesses to the accident.
