VINCENNES, Ind. (AP) - A Navy aircraft that flew in the Vietnam War is being added to the collection of the Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes.

The Navy Skyhawk A4 light attack bomber jet was given to the museum by a private donor from northern Indiana. In order to move it to the museum, it was taken apart and trucked piece by piece to Vincennes, where it was then reassembled.

Museum curator Jim Osborne tells WTHI-TV (https://bit.ly/1pccQv3 ) that the museum was helped by local contractors who were interested in the project. The museum plans to unveil the aircraft in 2015.

The museum moved into the former Blackford Glass Factory building near downtown Vincennes last year.
