WEST BAY, Fla. (AP) - United Airlines will soon start twice-daily flights from Panama City to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The airline announced this week that it will start the flights from Northwest Florida Beaches Airport near Panama City Beach early in 2015.

The News Herald of Panama City (https://bit.ly/1xgvenu ) reports the flights will be operated by United’s regional branch, United Express. The first flight is scheduled for March 5 with bookings available starting Saturday on united.com.
