BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) - Dakota Wolf threw for one touchdown and ran for two more, and Campbell picked up eight touchdowns on the ground to rout NAIA opponent Missouri Baptist 66-7 on Saturday.
Seven Fighting Camels ran for a touchdown, with Akile Jones leading on the ground with 103 yards on eight carries. Wolfe had 37-yards rushing, and was 12 of 15 for 240-yards passing with a touchdown.
The Fighting Camels (5-5) were a perfect 8 of 8 in the red zone, and finished with a school-high 788 total yards, allowing Missouri Baptist just 169.
The Spartans’ sole touchdown was scored by JP Lowery, who ran 65 yards with 5:32 left in the third quarter to avoid the shutout for Missouri Baptist (1-10). Lowery finished with 89 yards on 10 carries.
Campbell will face Jacksonville on Nov. 15 in Pioneer League play.
