DALLAS, Ga. (AP) - Authorities say a Paulding County teen accused of making a Twitter post threatening a shooting at his school has been arrested.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (https://on-ajc.com/1uM7yIZ ) that a 17-year-old was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of making terroristic threats. Paulding County jail showed he was being held without bond.

North Paulding High School Principal Mark Crowe told parents in a letter that school administrators alerted the sheriff’s office after learning of the threat Friday morning. Crowe said investigators found no weapons on campus, but the teen was arrested because of the nature of the threat.

Classes at the school continued during the investigation Friday.
