HOUSTON (AP) - Authorities are investigating the drowning death of a 3-year-old girl who was found in the pool of a Houston-area home.
Paramedics responded to the home Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say the child had been in the pool for about 20 minutes before being found.
The girl was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released by authorities.
Detectives with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are still trying to determine how the girl ended up in the pool.
