NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) - As nesting season begins, people around the world can keep up with the adventures of bad eagles Ozzie and Harriet thanks to a camera mounted above their nest in southwest Florida.
The pair has drawn some 20 million views over the past two bald eagle breeding seasons. The camera, plus another one mounted at ground level will be up and running starting on Wednesday courtesy of Dick Pritchett Real Estate in North Fort Myers.
Eagle nesting season runs through May 15.
Ozzie and Harriett are perched in a pine tree, ready for the new nesting season.
The News Press of Fort Myers (https://newspr.es/1ucQEAG ) reports viewers last year mourned when one of two chicks died in the nest.
Andy Pritchett says they couldn’t believe the eagle cam got so many views.
