Woman accused of stealing $15K in gift cards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Authorities say a Louisville woman is accused of stealing $15,000 in gift cards to pay for heroin.

According to WHAS-TV (https://bit.ly/1vVP31U), Kristie Moss stole merchandise from a local Walmart then returned the items for gift cards, which she then sold for cash.

Investigators say Moss admitted to participating in similar schemes.

She is currently charged with engaging in organized crime, theft and drug possession.
