DOVER, Del. (AP) - The Republican candidate for Senate is calling for ban on travel into the United States from countries hit hardest by Ebola.

Businessman Ken Wade, in an email on Friday, urged the president and congress to immediately enact and enforce a ban on travel from Ebola-stricken West African countries.

Wade calls a travel ban an “obvious, commonsense action” to protect Americans from the virus.

Wade is running against Democratic incumbent Chris Coons.
