Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice was sentenced Thursday to 41 months in prison after he and his wife, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice, pleaded guilty to federal fraud charges.

The father of four young daughters was also ordered to pay restitution of $414,588, the New York Post reported.

Mrs. Giudice was also sentenced Thursday to 15 months in prison. The Post reported that U.S. District Judge Esther Salas agreed that the mother will not serve her sentence at the same time as her husband because of the girls, whose rambunctious personalities are often featured on the TV show.

In March, the couple pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and three types of bankruptcy fraud, the Post reported.

Mr. Giudice, an Italian citizen, could be deported after his prison term is completed.
