MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A 24-year-old woman is under arrest after police said she ran over a woman in downtown Minneapolis on purpose.
Witnesses told police that the victim was struck by a car about 1 a.m. Saturday and dragged. The Star Tribune reports (https://strib.mn/1ro9KOE ) that 26-year-old Miera L. Horton of Minneapolis was in critical condition in a coma at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Police said two witnesses described seeing the driver aim her car at Horton and veering toward her as she tried to dodge.
