PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - An FBI spokeswoman says FBI agents and police in Oregon and Washington are looking for a man they think is connected to six Northwest bank robberies in the past month.
Spokeswoman Ayn Dietrich-Williams said Thursday that 41-year-old Anthony James Martinis is sought on a bank robbery warrant out of Cowlitz County, Washington.
The robberies took place in Lacey, Yakima and Longview, Washington, as well as Salem, Eugene and Cottage Grove in Oregon.
The FBI says information developed so far suggests the man may be heading toward Arizona and may rob banks in states between Oregon and Arizona.
