CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A Casper man accused of stealing more than 700 pounds of copper wire from an industrial company has pleaded not guilty to felony theft.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1yw7omS ) Jeremy Holz denied Friday that he stole the wire from Automation Electronics on two occasions in April and May. Holz, who also denied a misdemeanor charge of theft, is accused of selling the wire to Pacific Steel.
In a separate case, he and a woman were arrested Sept. 14 on suspicion of burglarizing a Casper home. Prosecutors say he also was convicted of manslaughter in 2000.
