ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A jury in Albuquerque has convicted a former worker for a health care company of vehicular homicide in a 2008 drunken-driving accident that killed a 49-year-old man who was her patient.

The District Attorney’s Office says a jury convicted Darla Bregar on Thursday and that she faces up to 14 years in prison when sentenced.

Thomas Spurlin was killed when a vehicle driven by Bregar swerved and overturned, ejecting both Spurlin and Bregar.
