BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The Boulder City Council is considering a $30,000 settlement of a lawsuit filed by a bicyclist injured in a collision with a police motorcycle.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports (https://tinyurl.com/nzq2p3p) the council will consider the possible deal Tuesday. The city manager, city attorney and police chief have all recommended the settlement be approved.

Bicyclist Dustin Kellogg of Allenspark suffered a knee injury in the August 2012 incident.

A police report says officer Bradley Frederking was driving the motorcycle and turned right, colliding with Kellogg. Frederking said his turn signal was on. Kellogg said he didn’t see a signal.
