MOUNT OLIVE, Ala. (AP) - Jefferson County sheriff’s officials say three people have been arrested in a drug trafficking investigation.

Sheriff’s spokesman Randy Christian said Wednesday that deputies found three pounds of methamphetamine, one and a half pounds of marijuana, five guns and nearly $95,000 in cash in a house in Mount Olive. Authorities say they also seized items suspected to be proceeds of criminal activity - including a boat, five ATVs, a jet ski and more.

Officials say 44-year-old Alberto Navarro is charged with meth trafficking and marijuana possession. He’s being held without bond.

Christian says 36-year-old Claire Baldwin is facing similar charges and is being held on $110,000 bond. Authorities say 24-year-olb Brenda Perez was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and is free on $500 bond. It’s unclear if they have attorneys.
