ATLANTA (AP) - A reward of $20,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspects who kidnapped a DeKalb County couple and killed them in Atlanta.

Police announced a reward Wednesday for information in the kidnapping and deaths of 21-year-old Briana Brooks and her 24-year-old boyfriend Jeronta Brown.

Authorities say the two were kidnapped outside their home after dinner last week and were taken to northwest Atlanta where they were shot in their heads. Police say Brooks was pregnant and survived long enough to deliver the couple’s second child who was born two-months premature.

Atlanta police Capt. Paul Guerrucci says the couple appears to have been innocent victims and the suspects demanded $150,000 in ransom.
