DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police have charged a woman with drug offenses after heroin was found after a traffic stop.

It happened about 2 p.m. Tuesday on New Castle Avenue. Police say officers pulled over a car driven by 24-year-old Angela Tribbitt of Felton after she allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign. Officers say a search turned up 57 bags or heroin and a bag of marijuana.

Tribbitt was charged with possession of marijuana and heroin and other offenses.

Later Tuesday, Delaware State Police charged Tribbitt in a strong-arm robbery in Dover. Troopers say Tribbit approached an 84-year-old woman in a parking lot and grabbed her purse.

Police say the victim struggled with Tribbitt, but Tribbit was able to wrest the purse from her and fled in a car.
