MOUNT HOLLY, N.J. (AP) - Bail is set at $70,000 for a southern New Jersey man accused of trying to arrange a sexual tryst with an underage girl he met online.

The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office says 62-year-old Thomas MacGregor of Cherry Hill was actually chatting with a detective instead of a 14-year-old.

Authorities say MacGregor had vodka and condoms in his car when he traveled to Mount Holly for the meeting, where he was arrested.

MacGregor is charged with attempted sexual assault, attempted luring and child endangerment.

It’s not known if the kitchen designer for a home improvement store has a lawyer.
