NEW YORK (AP) - The World Trade Center memorial plaza in Lower Manhattan is currently open only to family members.

The plaza will reopen to the public at 6 p.m. Thursday.

After that, it’s anticipated that thousands will pay their respects at the twin reflecting pools where the towers once stood.
