PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) - The University of Rhode Island will dedicate a hall of fame for alumni who made significant contributions to the Army and their communities.

The school says it will hold a ceremony for the ROTC Hall of Fame on Saturday, the same day as URI’s Military Appreciation Day football game.

The university president, school officials and veterans plan to attend.

The hall features photos and biographies of the inductees and videos from the time they served. It is inside the school’s student union at the South Kingston campus.
