GEISMAR, La. (AP) - A man from Utah has been arrested on a charge of terrorizing after he allegedly called in a bomb threat on Sept. 11 to the PCS Nitrogen Plant in Geismar (GUYZ-mar).

Chief Tony Bacala with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office says detectives began investigating the bomb threat and learned the telephone number used to call in the threat belonged to 34-year-old Terry Randal Cox II of Roy, Utah.

WAFB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1mcm6Oe ) Cox worked as a contractor at PCS Nitrogen at the time of the alleged incident, which caused 540 employees to be evacuated.

Cox was arrested Tuesday and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail. Bond has not been set.
