SEATTLE (AP) - A King County councilmember has pleaded guilty to drunken driving.
The Seattle Times reports (https://is.gd/gjivH5 ) 43-year-old Reagan Dunn entered his plea on Wednesday in Kittitas County. He was arrested last month after driving his pickup into a ditch.
Dunn, a former federal prosecutor, has served on the county council since 2005. He unsuccessfully ran for state Attorney General in 2012. Dunn is the son of the late Jennifer Dunn, a Washington state Republican congresswoman.
Dunn told the newspaper he pleaded guilty because he wanted to accept responsibility. He says alcoholism has been an issue in his family and he went through rehab in 2011.
Dunn says he drank about half dozen beers at restaurants near his Cle Elum cabin.
