WINDSOR, Vt. (AP) - State police say they have seized and destroyed eight marijuana plants that were growing on state-owned land in Windsor.

The plants were growing in two different areas and chicken wire was surrounding the plots.

State police and members of the state Fish & Wildlife Department destroyed the plants on Saturday. An investigation is continuing to determine who was tending to the plants.
