BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - A jury has convicted a New York man of killing and sexually assaulting the 5-year-old son of his then-girlfriend.
A jury found 27-year-old Matthew Kuzdzal (KUHZ’-duhl) of Buffalo guilty on Friday following a two-week trial.
Authorities say Kuzdzal sodomized and fatally beat Eain Brooks in September 2013.
Erie County District Attorney Frank Sedita says he faces up to 50 years to life in prison when he is sentenced in October on charges of second-degree murder and predatory sexual assault against a child.
