ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Three people involved in a film about former Northern State University basketball coach Don Meyer are scheduled to appear at the South Dakota Film Festival next week in Aberdeen.

The film “My Many Sons” chronicles the career of the legendary coach, who died earlier this year after battling cancer. Meyer was one of the winningest coaches in college basketball history.

The Aberdeen American News reports (https://bit.ly/ZtxfzM ) that Casey Bond, a producer and one of the stars of the film, has agreed to speak on Sept. 26 at the Capitol Theatre.



Ralph E. Portillo, director of the film, and director of photography Matthew Irving are also slated to come to Aberdeen.

Bond’s acting experience includes a role in the baseball movie “Moneyball” and a part in the TV series “Nashville.”
