ATLANTA (AP) - Police in Clayton County say a 14-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was attacked by three pit bulls.
Police tell The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/1qTUkal ) the teen was walking through a neighbor’s yard in Jonesboro when the dogs attacked. The dogs bit his face, arms and legs.
The teen, whose name was not released, was taken to Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston to be treated.
Witnesses said the dogs weren’t properly restrained and ran toward the boy before biting and dragging him.
Police say county animal control officials removed the dogs, and the owners were cited.
