PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - The Wayne County Medical Examiner says the remains of a decomposed body found stuffed inside a 55-gallon plastic drum at a Detroit-area storage facility were that of a Warren woman reported missing earlier this year.

Spokeswoman Mary Mazur says a forensic dentist matched dental records of 22-year-old Theresa DeKeyzer to the remains.

The body was found Thursday inside the barrel containing the remains at Travel Trailer Storage in Plymouth Township.

X-ray equipment was used to help determine the contents, according to the state police.

DeKeyzer’s boyfriend reported that he last saw her June 16 near her Warren home, police said. The boyfriend has been jailed for violating probation in a Midland County drug case.
