ORRVILLE, Ala. (AP) - Alabama state troopers say a 19-year-old woman died in a crash that also injured a baby.
Troopers tell WSFA-TV (https://bit.ly/1ykmPlv ) that Jamira Barley died when the 2003 Toyota Corolla she was driving left the road and struck several trees around 6 p.m. Friday. The wreck happened on Dallas County Road 29, about five miles north of Orrville.
Barley was pronounced dead at Vaughn Regional Medical Center in Selma.
Troopers say Barley wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. An 11-month-old child in the car was taken to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham to be treated for injuries.
Troopers were investigating the cause of the crash.
