BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) - Bridgeport police are investigating the killing of a 35-year-old man who was shot in the head on his front porch

Authorities say Curtis Stephens was entering his home on Monroe Street at about 11 p.m. Saturday when he was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police Chief Joseph Gaudett says the gunman ran from the scene and remains at large. Witnesses to the shooting are urged to call Bridgeport police.



Gaudett says detectives are pursuing leads and are providing support to Stephens’ family.
