CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio (AP) - Police are trying to find the person who fired gunshots into a suburban Cleveland bar, killing one woman and wounding another.

Cleveland Heights police say 25-year-old Arrion Smiley was killed by gunfire into the Double R Bar and Grill at about 2 a.m. Saturday. The Northeast Ohio Media Group (https://bit.ly/1ylMqdQ ) reports that the other woman hit by gunfire was in stable condition.

Police said that just before someone shot into the bar from the front entrance, several people had been escorted outside by bar security after a fight.

Friends say Smiley was the mother of a young daughter who worked at a facility that helps female inmates prepare to re-enter society.
