SEATTLE (AP) - With the start of fall, here come the clouds and a forecast of rain for Washington.
The National Weather Service says clouds will move into the state Monday with rain expected Tuesday night and Wednesday. Forecasters say the weather will remain unsettled but turning a little warmer and drier for the weekend.
It was a warm summer. The Weather Service says there were a record 27 days since May with a high temperature of 83 or above at Sea-Tac Airport. The previous record was 26 days set in 1958.
