ST. LOUIS (AP) - More than a dozen middle-school students were taken to hospitals Tuesday for precautionary reasons after a St. Louis-area freeway crash involving their school bus and a milk truck, police and school officials said.
The bus driver and three students complained of neck injuries after the accident about 8 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 44 and were taken to a hospital, Parkway School District spokeswoman Cathy Kelly told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The other 15 children were taken to hospitals for evaluation of mostly minor injuries.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
