Child found in Louisville park pronounced dead

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Louisville police are investigating the death of a child found in a park east of downtown.

The Courier-Journal (https://cjky.it/1tf2Exi ) reports police said the child was found in Cherokee Park and was pronounced dead at Kosair Children’s Hospital from unknown wounds.

The case was being treated as a death investigation.

Police said a bystander found the child around 4:30 p.m. EDT on a foot path in woods off the park’s Scenic Loop.
