NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A school bus carrying the North Little Rock High School football team was involved in a multiple vehicle accident on Interstate 40 that left 10 people injured and snarled traffic.

Officials say no students were hurt in Thursday’s accident, but one of the coaches was injured.

Seven vehicles were involved in the accident - including the bus, passenger vehicles, and a tractor trailer. Fire department officials say 115 people were involved in the accident.



Officials say of the 10 people injured, five were transported to the hospital by ambulance, while five others drove themselves to local hospitals.

The North Little Rock School District said in a statement that as a safety precaution, the players were transported back to their training facility at for further examination by doctors.
